Jim Committe

Along with being the leader and front man for the Jim Committe Project, Jim plays electric and acoustic guitar, sings lead and background vocals, and has been known to play some harmonica on occasion too.  Breaking News!: Jim has added keyboards to his duties on several songs!  Now back to our regularly scheduled program....   A little known fact is that Jim also named the band (duh).  Jim was the lead vocalist of The Band Ohio for several years before forming the Jim Committe Project.  He has played in a number of other Northeastern Ohio bands, and often has trouble reading the setlist.

Rick Charlotte

Rick primarily plays bass guitar and sings both lead and harmony vocals, but is also known to play acoustic guitar on a few songs. He has been playing in rock n roll bands for some 45 years, experiencing these songs when they first came out. His first band he was in goes back to the spring of 1965 with some high school friends. As you can see by the bass guitars he uses, The Beatles were a major influence on him. He says its been a fun ride over the years.

Jon Fields

Jon is the 'young' guy in the band who keeps the rest of us on our toes by trying to slip in some of the current metal tunes on the radio.  As the drummer for the band, Jon also adds percussion on some songs but not 'more cowbell', sorry. Jon also won second place in a Halloween contest where the band played, as a revered religious entity (see the pictures on the site to see what that all means). Jon keeps us on track when Jim gets a bit talkative and turns in a great performance every gig during his 'spotlighted' section just before Turn To Stone. Maybe we'll do a Mr. Bungle tune to pay him back.

Tim Hozdik

Tim plays electric guitar (and makes it sound like an acoustic, or a banjo at times thanks to the Line 6 Variax guitar), keyboards, mandolin, and bass. OK, he sings too as you can see from the microphone stuck in his face in the picture.  He has played in several bands in the area and is currently also in an 'All Occasion' band - that means he is known to wear a Tux at times while playing with that band, ohhh the humanity :-).
